It’s an exciting time at StudentBridge! Despite the current environment, we are still investing in our products and people and we are passionate about delivering creative and memorable virtual experiences for our higher education partners. We’re seeking an innovative and vibrant Manager of Customer Experience to strategically plan, design, and manage the company’s suite of digital engagement solutions and back-end technology platform. The Manager will be responsible for understanding market opportunities, identifying customer needs, defining a product strategy, writing product requirements, and launching new solutions.

The Manager will define and execute the product roadmap and ensure the on-time, on-budget delivery of products that will delight our partners. This person will work closely with Sales and Technology serving as a bridge between the two groups. This role will report directly to the VP, Technology. Once normal business operations resume, the candidate will work full-time in our Atlanta office.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Sales and our partners to understand the industry, identify market opportunities and identify customer needs
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development and product launches
  • Work closely with Technology to creatively envision and prioritize new product ideas and concepts
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Translate the product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by the Technology teams
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates StudentBridge and its features across primary market segments
  • Create and manage a partner input process incorporating customer feedback, surveys, product testing and validation and on-going customer discussion sessions
  • Assess current competitor offerings seeking opportunities for differentiation
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

Experience, Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • 5-7 years of experience in a dynamic product management role
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management
  • Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a large number of tasks
  • Experience with documenting user workflows and developing seamless user interfaces
